1. Project Life- I hope my zeal for weekly PL continues for the next 50 1/2 weeks.
2. The girls love for scrapbooking
- Annie and Gracie have been scrapping in an American Girl Doll scrapbook.
Here Annie propped up Isabella to look like a street musician.

Annie also took one picture of each doll doing their "talent," as she called it.
Gracie posed her dolls in their new winter outfits.

Our gift to the girls this year were instax cameras. Not very expensive, but super fun. Our one stipulation was the once they run out of film, they had to use their allowance to buy more. THAT is the NOT so cheap part!
And they both made December Dailies, which were not daily because I couldn't even get mine finished let alone help them with theirs.
Annie's turned out cute, though I don't have any photos. She decided that it would be a GREAT idea to finish it this morning before school...in her pj's...lunch unmade...teeth and hair unbrushed...not necessarily my idea of a GREAT idea.
Gracie finished her yesterday in her stir crazy sickness.

and at one point, while Gracie was on her 10th hour of TV yesterday, I cleaned out the girls scrap mess...or should I call it crap mess, because I found this.

and every time I look at it, I laugh and then say it in a dramatic hispanic accent like speedy gonzales the mouse. Do it. You'll laugh too.
3. This book

I'm reading it with Gracie. I'll admit, I had a bit of trouble following along because she had read a bit on her own. I'm up to speed now and I've bawled like a baby a few times. so, so good. Thank you Kim and Cass.
4. Swimming. yeah, I said it. I love it. It is so challenging. What I love is knowing that I started out at a certain distance and it continues to slowly increase-it feels GREAT!
5. Pinterest. Do I really need to say more about that?
6. Instagram.
7. Annie's LOVE for reading. That kid is going nuts for reading. the past two weeks, almost every morning I find her reading a book in her bed or she'll pick up a book and read a bit after school. It's not just for bedtime anymore. I bought her a Junie B Jones book today-really hate those books, she's a brat and her language skills drive me nuts-but Annie took to it like a fish takes to water and laugh at all the funny parts. I was quick to point out all the grammatical errors, which she knew. I am sure she was getting annoyed at me, but sometimes she doesn't use the correct past tense for irregular verbs so I don't want those books reinforcing incorrect grammar.
Do you think I have issues?
8. Being home with Gracie- I don't like her being so sick and I don't like her missing school, but we've sure had some nice time together. We've played games, read books, scrap booked, looked at pinterest and watched some cartoons. I am hoping that she's feeling a little better by the morning or she's going back to the dr!
