When we took a picture of the 7 of us at scrap weekend, I jokingly said "We need to send this to Becky Higgins!"
So tuesday afternoon, I did. And this wound up on her blog.
Uh, the texts and emails were firing after that. We got such a kick out of our "5 minutes of fame."
And, because she linked my blog, I am at approximately 1700 hits and climbing in a 24 hour period. Too funny. I usually only get about 60-85 hits from one blog post.
If one appointment for Annie wasn't enough this week, I added two more by taking her to the dentist for 3 baby tooth extractions.

I scheduled her appointment for 8, which always seems like a good idea at the time. She did not want to get up this morning so I did what any self respecting parent does in times like these...I bribed her with a FROST doughnut. (because I am dairy free and sis is gluten free, she never gets to have these yet they are one of her most favorite treats on the planet.)
"Really Mama. Really? You'll get me a doughnut? You're not just saying this to get me out of bed are you?"
Once more, we tempted the fates of time and made it to the dentist with not a second to spare. And that girl got her doughnut.
They told me she'd be able to go back to school. But, I guess her teeth weren't exactly ready to come out because she filled the gauze all. day. long. until 3:00. gross.
Then she had an ortho appointment this afternoon. The bleeding stopped just in time.
Now she has 3 little teeth to put out for the tooth fairy.
And YES I made her write her note to the tooth fairy on a project life journaling card.
Speaking of those journaling cards

I got them organized and divided. I may need one more tray. Ok I do. Shocking, right? Thank you Target.
Gracie's getting ready for her school store tomorrow and she made this:

I may be crafty but this kid is creative. I wrote her a thank you note today for organizing her room last night and being so responsible this morning-she made her bed, fed the cat and put her dishes in the sink all without being asked. I'm doing something right. YES! Anyway, I wrote it on none other than a 4 by 6 project life journaling card of course.
I'm pretty proud of myself.
