Breakfast for my sweeties
Eric came home yesterday with a valentine gift for me.
Two new Nike workout pants to replace my favorite stinky pair. Uh, 1)thoughtful 2)amazing that he remembered what the old pair even looked like
On the way to dinner, "I hope you weren't offended that I gave you work out pants on Valentine's day."
Uh no, NEVER.
He also came home with these sweet Valentine's for his girls.
Can you imagine him trucking Hello Kitty bags into the office?
I packed the mugs up and brought them to our happy place tonight. I broke one upon unpackaging it once we got here. Please don't tell Annie.
My other gift was an ocular migraine. THAT was fun. I was just walking in to the girls school to sell doughnuts to the lunch crowd for a 5th grade camp fundraiser and I have no peripheral vision and my vision was wavy. No headache though. Still, I called the eye doc and the gal told me what she thought it was was and told me to be prepared for a headache. Yup, that came about 20 minutes later. It lasted all afternoon until the next morning. I woke up feeling like I'd drank a 5th of Jack. Nothing a hard core spin class couldn't cure though.
I made a gluten free dairy free choclate cake with agave nectar as the sweetener for valentine's day and vegan frosting to top it off. It was pretty good.
Gracie woke up this morning, came right down stairs and said "what do you want us to do this morning, mama? Organize our valentine's?"
I was thinking more a long the lines of getting ready for school, but whatever.
I'm still "off" facebook. I didn't disable my account. I realize there are too many people I get in touch with through FB- I don't have email addresses. And I can still post pictures from Instagram and my blog without going on FB so the family can see. You know, our parents who became snowbirds, abandoning so we have to pay babysitters. muwahaha.
There have been several instances where I've reached for my phone to post a funny that the girls said and then I remember.
Eric just told me stop drooling over Daniel Craig. It's 10 pm and we just put Skyfall in. I'm going to regret this I know, but I won't regret watching that hunk a hunk a man on the screen .
Two of my favorite teachers each gave me the nicest compliments this week. Their kind words could not have come at a more perfect time. I've been struggling with "WHAT AM I REALLY DOING that's meaningful to anyone????" I'd like to write more about this but I'm having a difficult time putting it in to words, so I'm just going to sit here and drool all over my computer while I watch Daniel Craig.

Love reading your words. So sorry about that migraine. Thanks for all you do for us at school. Everyone was crazy about the Potato Day........yummy!
