Annie started a little art class today. It's after school for the next few mondays. When she brought the paper home a couple of weeks ago, she was SO excited about it. She wants to be an author/illustrator so she HAD to take the class.
When it was over, she came skipping out of class, all smiles. The assignment was to draw Skipper (as reported by Annie) , you know from the Penguins of Madagascar. If you know our family, we LOVE the penguins. If you don't think they're funny, then you have no sense of humor.
This was her drawing.
"I drew him with the coconuts and hula skirt because I thought it would go with the background."
"Did you get this idea from the instructor?"
"no"
"Did anyone else draw skipper like this?"
"no"
