Last week was a total BUST. I worked out at home on monday. Tuesday, I ran too hard on my foot and reinjured it. PFFFFT. I was so disappointed in myself. With the snow, all the gym classes were cancelled. I was kind of cranky about it.
I tried to get back into it this week, but it was hard. I feel like it takes so long to build muscle and get your heart in shape, but it takes nanoseconds for it to all come undone.
Saturday-nothing
Sunday-nothing
Monday- 10 mile bike
Tuesday- Swim 1600 yards, 20 minutes upper body weights
Wednesday- 14 mile bike
Thursday- 1750 swim, 5 mile bike
Friday-14 mile bike, 20 minutes weights, 60 minute hot yoga-I'll admit, I'm tired after that. I had some extra downtime so I went for it.
Thursday I got a foot massage. I'm not sure I liked it, BUT my feet feel pretty decent today.
And because I was feeling so sluggish and crappy last sunday (kind of like the snowman on the left with the pink scarf-sidenote: I made those snowmen with Gracie's class on tuesday. I went in today and helped them wrap and bag them up to take home. They were so proud of their work!)
I signed up for my first sprint tri in June. There's no turning back now!
